Difficulty in finding moments of true rest, contributing to ongoing fatigue.

Physical symptoms manifesting as a result of the continuous juggling of professional and family responsibilities.

There is hope.

That hope is seeking God and pouring into his word can reverse the signs of working mom burnout.

What the Bible Says About Burnout

Finding Rest in Him

**Psalm 62:1 (KJV)**

“Truly my soul waiteth upon God: from him cometh my salvation.”

In the whirlwind of managing a profitable business and nurturing your children, it’s essential to find solace and rest in God. This verse from Psalms reminds us that our souls can find true rest in God.

**Matthew 11:28-30 (NIV)**

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Jesus extends an invitation to those burdened by the demands of life. Embrace His gentle guidance, for in Him, you will find the rest your weary soul craves.

Casting Your Burdens

**1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)**

“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”

As Christian mom business owners, the weight of responsibilities can feel overwhelming. This verse encourages us to cast our anxieties on God, knowing that He cares for every aspect of our lives, including our businesses and families.

**Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)**

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

In moments of anxiety, turn to prayer and gratitude. God can bring the peace we so crave in our families and business.

Seeking Guidance and Wisdom

**Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)**

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding..”

Navigating the complexities of business and motherhood requires trust and submission to God’s guidance. He promises to guide and straighten our paths as we rely on Him.

**James 1:5 (NIV)**

“If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

In challenging decisions, seek wisdom from God. He provides guidance without judgment and already knows in our heart what we long from him.

Meditate on these verses.
Have them saved so you can read them when you are struggling.  This may come in handy in the present and future.

Balancing a profitable business and raising kids is undoubtedly challenging for Christian mom business owners. Recognizing burnout signs, seeking biblical wisdom, and aligning communication with faith are key steps. Remember, you’re not alone – find strength in Him and take one step at a time.
