Why I Love Being a Time Management Coach for Working Moms

April 25, 2024

Hi friend!  Today I’m going to share why I love being a Time Management Coach for Working Moms.  So, grab a cup of coffee, find a cozy spot, and continue to read down below!

In my quiet time where I am reflecting on God’s word and the journey he has put me on, my heart is filled with gratitude, happiness and awe for my coaching client, Laura.

I hope that wherever you’re reading this, you are filled with the same feeling.

One of the biggest blessings of having a blogging community with people like you is that I feel comfortable to share not only my mistakes – (Link to April 4th’s blog) – but also the celebrations, big and small, that come up in my business and life.

Recently, I had one such experience with a client that moved me completely but I could not wait to tell you all about it.

I was coaching Laura who was struggling with time management in her business.  She was so exhausted with what she needed to do in her personal life that there was no time and energy left when it came to her business. She tried all the time management techniques for working mothers but it did not work for her. Part of overwhelm was helping out a friend who was struggling to manage her daily activities. I could hear exhaustion, tiredness and weariness in her voice as she conveyed what was happening in her life.

I brought up an observation that took her off-guard.

“Laura,  I don’t know if you are aware but you are experiencing Caregiver’s burnout.  You are indirectly taking on the role of caregiver and I notice that you are burning out in the process.  What are your thoughts about what I said?”

Laura’s eyes widened with shock→ pondering what I said→ acceptance and understanding.  “You are right.  I am doing that.  I didn’t even realize that was me”

We coached more on the topic working on establishing boundaries, increasing her friend’s social support and other personalized time management techniques for working moms to help Laura get back more time and energy in her personal and business life.

We met again a couple weeks later.  Laura’s demeanor was different.  She was happier, lighter and more upbeat.  She caught me up on how she implemented the mindset and practical tips we discussed and seeing the fruits of the changes she made in her life.

It was beautiful to witness and I thanked God for bringing Laura into my life to help her when she needed it the most.  Laura has helped me in remembering that my unique skill, as a time management coach for working moms, set is infusing my psychiatry and coaching experience to be able to help no matter what is presented to me.

This was without a doubt one of my most gratifying experiences as a time management coach for working moms.

It’s one of those moments that I’ll reach for on the hard days when I’m questioning my abilities and what I’m capable of, and remember that God’s purpose for me is to  do big, incredible, life-shaking things to help others…

… and so were you.

What was one of your most gratifying client experiences as of late?

I’d be honored if you’d reply and share your story with me.

Transcript – “Before I began coaching with Celia, I was regularly working nights and weekends yet always felt behind. I was exhausted, irritable, and starting to lose sight of the impact I wanted to make through my business. My sessions with Celia have been a godsend!

Not only has coaching helped me handle stressful situations better and manage my time more efficiently, but it has also empowered me with mindset shifts that have allowed me to grow my business while upholding my Christian values and being the wife, mom and woman I want to be.

I’m getting better at following through on my plans which means I’m getting my work stuff done during work hours instead of having to work on my business during my family time.

Now I’m creating a bigger impact without working nights and weekends or compromising the things I hold dear. I’m helping more people in my business by having more consistent communication via my email newsletter, doing more networking and serving more clients, yet I have more time to enjoy my family, improve my health, and enjoy my family. I’m now getting in 5 to 6 workouts a week and enjoying more date nights and vacations than I have in a long time.

Coaching with Celia is indeed a blessing!“
