The one thing you need to do in order to embrace kingdom mindset

March 7, 2024

Hey Sister in Christ! Today I’m going to share with you the one thing you need to do that will take you from wondering if being business-minded is somehow opposed to being kingdom-minded to having a kingdom business mindset. So, grab a cup of coffee, find a cozy spot, and continue to read below!

Let’s dive in:

When I first started my journey as a business owner, I was an exhausted pregnant mama.

At times, I couldn’t see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it was during one of my lowest moments, when I was crying on a coaching call, that I decided to try this one thing, and it changed my entire life.

Combining having a kingdom and business mindset

You might be asking, what does that even mean?

What is a business mindset?

A business mindset involves self-coaching or receiving coaching on problems arising in your business and working through them to move forward.

What is a kingdom mindset?

A kingdom mindset involves incorporating Christ into every aspect of your life.

What is the kingdom business mindset?

The kingdom business mindset is actively seeking wisdom, guidance, and discernment from God and scripture when obstacles arise in your business, and even praising God when your business is thriving.

An example of this is how you market your business by praying to God for wisdom on how to ethically market it so that it serves others and honors God.

It is remembering that God is the CEO of your business. He is using your business to impact you and others around you. God intrinsically knows everything going on Earth, including our hearts and intentions.

If you don’t incorporate a kingdom business mindset, your business is open to becoming an idol, sinful and corrupt.

What does this look like?

  • You are constantly thinking of the money in your business where money becomes your idol.
  • You feel jealous about another business owner who is doing well in their life, allowing sin to enter your heart and your business.
  • Your identity is wrapped in the success of your business, instead of your identity being wrapped in Christ.

This is why in my GRACE method, we address your mindset about your business and Christ first!

God has to be the center of your business before we can work on anything else.

It may seem silly, insignificant, or even preachy, and yet I and so many of my clients don’t practice this one thing consistently.

This is exactly why I created the GRACE method. I wanted to ensure that when you encounter roadblocks (which we ALL do) on your journey, you have the support, tools, and strategies to cultivate a kingdom business mindset.
