Help Christian Mom Entrepreneur! Trying to work but my kids need me!

February 15, 2023

When working from home, everything tends to bleed through.

➡️ Your kids can easily find you.

➡️ Your husband has a question for you.

You feel frustrated that you are mentally prepared yourself to work on your business but keep getting interrupted. 🤷‍♀️

✅ Here are 6 steps to overcome it

✨ 1. Pray to God for guidance & wisdom on setting boundaries while working on your business.

✨2. Tell your hubby & kids –> mom needs x,y,z time. I will be with you afterwards.

Remember, your husband and kids can ask but you decide whether to give in or stay firm on your boundaries.

(If it is a true emergency, then disregard this and help your family out).

✨ 3. Pre-plan what you are focusing on before you start working during your blocked off time.

✨ 4. Get into the zone- listen to your favorite music or wear noise cancelling headphones.

(My favorite is listening to BBC Sherlock when I work)

✨ 5. Don’t have an office? Find anywhere in your home where it is a quiet to work in.

(Before I had an office, I worked in the bedroom closet because it was quiet)

✨ 6. Are you still distracted at home?

Go to the library or cafe. Anywhere in the past that worked for you to get work done.
