FAQ Section
Why does business coaching not work for me?
Business coaching does work but it’s designed to give you strategy, not help you implement it inside your real life. Your coach can help you map out your offers, marketing, and next steps, but they’re not there when your week gets derailed by a sick kid, a schedule change, or mental exhaustion. The disconnect happens in the gap between knowing what to do and actually being able to do it consistently. That’s where most mom entrepreneurs get stuck.
Why am I not making progress in my business even though I have a business coach?
Because having the right strategy doesn’t automatically mean you have the capacity to execute it. You might be dealing with mental load, constant interruptions, or decision fatigue before you even start working. So even though the plan makes sense, your brain and energy aren’t in a place to follow through. This isn’t a failure on your part or your coach. It’s a missing layer of support that helps you implement in real life.
Why can’t I follow through on business coaching?
Following through isn’t just about discipline. It’s about what’s happening internally and externally when you sit down to work. You might be avoiding visibility, feeling overwhelmed by your to-do list, or mentally drained from carrying everything for your family and your business. These internal blocks don’t go away just because you have a clear plan, which is why it feels like you “should” be doing the work but can’t make yourself do it.
Why do I keep procrastinating in my business?
Procrastination here isn’t about being lazy. It’s usually a signal. It can come from fear of visibility, discomfort around selling, or simply being mentally overloaded. When your brain is already full from managing your home and your business, even small tasks can feel heavy. So you delay, avoid, or stay busy with easier tasks instead of the ones that actually move your business forward.
Why can’t I finish what I start in my business?
Because your environment isn’t stable or predictable enough to support traditional productivity systems. Your week can change quickly—sick kids, schedule disruptions, unexpected responsibilities—and when that happens, your plan collapses. Without a way to adapt and re-enter your work, you lose momentum. Then guilt builds, which makes it even harder to pick things back up. It’s a cycle that has nothing to do with your capability and everything to do with how your life is structured.
