Discovering You in the journey

September 29, 2021

Coaching is a transformative experience.

The moments in session where we dive deep into why the client is doing what she is doing is profound. You can almost see the light bulb moment where the client truly understands how her thoughts are impacting her life.

She has new awareness of how much her thoughts are driving her forward in life or holding her back.

But what I like to remind my clients that the real work happens in between sessions.

-Taking the time to practice what you learned.

-Being able to do a thought download and see where you are at with your unintentional model.

-Sitting with your emotions instead of trying to escape it, react to it or avoid it. Identifying your emotions and giving it a name. Owning your emotions instead of your emotions owning you.

-Aware of other’s people expectations of you doesn’t dictate your thoughts and feelings.

-Practicing new beliefs so it starts to be your default thoughts.

Sometimes, client have a transformative session and it sticks with them. Other times, it takes longer time with practice and awareness to get to where they want to be,

And that is ok. Every women is unique. There is no right or wrong way in how your journey goes.

This is just a tip of the iceberg of what my clients experience when they are working with me.
