Most people don’t know this but I secretly wish fall was a year-long season.
I love everything about fall.
The weather becomes cooler, leaves change colors from green→ red, orange or yellow,
I enjoy wearing cardigans with a tank top and fall boots over my jeans.
Don’t get me started on the food.
Apple cider donuts, pumpkin pie, really anything pumpkin deserves it’s own post.
My husband and I went to the local farm nearby. They had a store of locally produced food. It felt like heaven walking in. You could walk in and smell the apple cider in the air. It had a warm glow with the string lights in the background and fall decorations to soften the mood.
We slowly browsed about and settled on apple cider donuts to take home and enjoy with decaf cappuccino for me and apple cider for hubby.
It was a nice, quiet, relaxing evening. An evening that reminds us why it is important to slow down and savor the moments.
