Dr. Celia
00:00 – 00:23
Biz Mom, welcome back. Last week we talked about your December productivity personality, and I loved hearing from so many of you saying, oh wow, I finally feel seen. Some of you were like, I’m absolutely the overloaded octopus, while others were messaging me saying, I didn’t know the cozy avoider was a thing, but yes, that’s exactly where I am right now. And here’s the beautiful part.

Dr. Celia
00:23 – 00:46
When you understand how your brain behaves in December, you can finally stop fighting it and start choosing what actually works in the season. Because today we’re going to go deeper, not heavier. This is like a soft, supportive, let’s sit on the couch with a blanket kind of episode. So today’s question is, what does your business actually need from you this month, given your December personality?

Dr. Celia
00:46 – 01:11
Not the perfect version of you, not January you, not Pinterest you, actual you, December you, the human you. And let’s gently walk through this together. Before we talk about each personality type, we need a simple foundation, a December baseline. December is not a month for overhauling systems, reinventing your business, massive goals, or pressure-filled consistency.

Dr. Celia
01:12 – 01:43
December is a month of what I call the unshakable three, the only three things your business truly needs to keep momentum alive. So number one would be visibility in the smallest, simplest form, just reminding your audience that you exist. Number two would be one weekly needle mover, which is a single action that keeps business moving, even a tiny bit. And the last one would be three connection, a human touch point with your audience, clients, or community.

Dr. Celia
01:44 – 02:07
That’s it. That’s all you need for December given that like some of you might be going through like holiday chaos, family drama or anything else in between and sometimes just keeping it simple is what we need in this month until things can ease up later on. And because of that, doing this will actually leave your business much sturdier than you realize. So here’s the part I want you to remember.

Dr. Celia
02:07 – 02:23
Your business does not need perfection. It needs presence, momentum, and connection in the smallest possible form. Let’s talk about what your business actually needs from you. The holiday sprinter comes into December with a burst of energy and then hits a wall around the second week.

Dr. Celia
02:24 – 02:49
So for you, the goal isn’t more tasks, it’s pacing. Your business needs a plan with a built-in breathing room because your momentum fades when the emotional load rises and one low lift visibility action. So you can pick like one thing, like a story, a quick email, a simple post, anything that you feel that you can do, but it’s also low lift. And you also need guardrails to keep you from overcommitting.

Dr. Celia
02:50 – 03:24
Your December self thinks that she could do anything, but your mid-December self wants to take a nap. and FYI this is where the pocket coach bot actually comes in handy because sprinters don’t struggle with starting they struggle with not doing too much too fast and the bot actually helps you choose one next step and then what you need afterwards so here’s the part where i hope you hold on to your energy is a gift it just needs gentle pacing not pressure So koozie avoiders, you’re up next. And I promise this is a judgment-free zone.

Dr. Celia
03:25 – 03:55
Your nervous system wants comfort this month, predictability, softness, small wins. So your business needs one, micro actions instead of big goals, such as one email, one conversation, one CTA, one simple share. Number two, a list of tiny CEO movements. Write them down somewhere visible, like replying to one DM, or reposting a piece of content, or following up with the previous client, or adding a sentence to a draft, or even sending a follow-up to a potential collaborator.

Dr. Celia
03:55 – 04:10
These things count and these things matter. And number three would be one external decision maker because choosing tasks feels heavy right now. And that’s where the pocket coach bot feels like a hug. It hands you the next step when your brain is saying, I cannot choose.

Dr. Celia
04:11 – 04:35
So if you’re a cozy avoider, remember your gentle pacing isn’t avoidance. It’s your brain asking for safety and your business can actually work with that. Okay, Octopus Moms, the ones with six mental browser tabs open all the time, this one’s for you. You’re juggling a lot, kids, work, holidays, logistics, emotions, grocery lists, wrapping paper, teacher’s gift, all of it.

Dr. Celia
04:35 – 04:52
So this is what your business needs. Number one, a clear priority per day, not three, not five, one. This alone reduces overwhelm more than any planner could. Number two would be a way to offload decisions quickly because your brain is already very busy enough.

Dr. Celia
04:53 – 05:11
Number three would be a visual stop doing list. Octopus moms need to see what is not required this month. And that could look like, okay, I don’t need to deep clean the house this month. I don’t need to write back all these thank you notes that I have pending right now.

Dr. Celia
05:11 – 05:27
I could leave that for later. Something along those lines that you do not need to do this month, but you could do later when you have capacity. And this is also where Biz Mom Pocket Coach Bot shines because it cuts through the noise and says, do this first. If interruptions happen, here’s plan B.

Dr. Celia
05:27 – 05:39
It becomes a calm voice when your brain doesn’t have access to in December. So here’s the part I want you to carry with you. Your overwhelm is not a personal failure. It’s the natural outcome of doing too much without support.

Dr. Celia
05:42 – 06:07
And finally, the quiet strategies, the thoughtful one, the slow and steady one. You move intentionally, you’re reflective, you want meaning in your work, and you want space to think. So your business needs the following. Number one, tiny containers for your thinking, such as like a 10-minute planning block, or a single notebook page, or a short CEO check-in, where you could just let your thoughts out and think about it and dwell and think about next steps.

Dr. Celia
06:07 – 06:30
Number two, less noise. Quiet strategists need fewer tabs, fewer choices, and just fewer input because when you get overloaded, you cannot think, you cannot let your brain do what it does best. So cutting back on the tabs, the choices, and the inputs will help you get to where you want to be in your business. And number three is a way to brain structure without pressure.

Dr. Celia
06:31 – 06:50
Because the danger here is drifting, not failing. The Biz Mom Pocket Coach Bot works beautifully for strategists because it gives structure, direction, and a grounded next step without intensity or urgency. So if you’re the quiet strategist, the part I want you to remember is this. Your thoughtful pace is a strength.

Dr. Celia
06:50 – 07:04
It just needs a gentle container to stay on track. So now that you know your personality and what your business needs, let’s bring this together. December is not about output. It’s about alignment.

Dr. Celia
07:04 – 07:12
Your personality plus your business needs equal your December plan. Let it be small. Let it be soft. Let it be sustainable.

Dr. Celia
07:13 – 07:37
Your job is not to crush goals. Your job is to stay connected even in tiny ways. And if you remember one thing today, your December plan works best when it works with your nervous system, not against it. So Biz Mom, whether you’re a holiday sprinter, a cozy avoider, an overloaded octopus, or a quiet strategist, your December brain is doing exactly what it needs to do to get you through the season.

Dr. Celia
07:38 – 08:04
And if you’re listening and thinking, okay, this makes so much sense, but I still need help figuring out what my actual next step is today, that’s why I created the Biz Mom Pocket Coach Bot. It’s for days when your brain is too full, everything feels urgent, you cannot choose, or your energy is gone. And it gives you one step, one plan, one path forward based on your capacity right now. So if you want to explore it, you’ll find the link in the show notes.

Dr. Celia
08:04 – 08:23
And because you listened to the end, here’s a coupon code to save $9 off the product. It is called PODCAST, P-O-D-C-A-S-T, in all capital letters. And you can get it for $70 instead of $79. And no pressure, this is just support if this feels what your December brain is needing right now.

Dr. Celia
08:24 – 08:42
And I’ll talk to you next week about whether or not Pocket Coach Bot is the right support for you this season. And I just want to leave you with this, you are doing better than you think. You are handling this season with grace and you are loved and supported by me. So I’ll talk to you next time and take care.
